Bidrage med feedbackSuch a fun experience! Alcohol infused ice cream with so many delicious flavors. The ambiance was nice and we loved chatting with our “bartender”. Ice cream seems small but it was plenty!
Fun concept for sure but can't deny that the whole experience is very bougie. The ice cream is good though and you can definitely taste the alcohol in some flavors more than others, but it's still very mild. The chocolate amaretto is my favorite. Expect to pay $8+ for the small size (3.7 oz) ice cream.
Craving a sweet treat, I stopped by here one Friday evening around 8 pm. I was the only person in the store, although a food delivery service made a pickup. The inside of the store definitely caters towards adults; almost a cocktail lounge atmosphere, with plenty of seating and softer lighting. The counter person was very helpful, and went through their menu with me. Because I 'm a gin drinker, I finally decided on the Key Lime Martini, which is described as a sweet and tangy key lime ice cream made with St. George Botanivore Gin accented with graham cracker crust . I went with the small for $9, which is a 3.7 ounce serving. A pint of 16 ounces would have been $23.00. It was still very frozen when I got home, and after I pried the metal lid off, I dug in. The flavor was rich and creamy, and pretty boozy. It definitely reminded me of key lime pie, which I love. A little went a long way though, and this smaller size will last me for multiple tastings. I think this would be the perfect after-dinner stop to extend a nice, adult evening out.
FRIDAYS are for Adventures on foot! Well, we did just that yesterday We started at Lady and the Mug for coffee, small breakfast, work and to catch up on the week. Then we packed up and decided it was time for lunch. While walking towards our car, the store front popped out and it was nothing short of inviting, cute while boasting fun options! Although they do not serve liquor by itself, it's not needed. The way it is infused within the ice cream and sorbets is super refreshing! We tried The Tangerine Mimosa made with Moet (VEGAN option and it was pleasantly great!!! They look small, but are very filling. Thankfully we split as we were just passing by. She told us that people actually order for their weddings and events...never would have thought about that If you are looking for any reason to get outside and have an adult only setting, try this place. They have Tequila, Bourbons, Champagnes, Scotch, Gin and Rum options. Something for everyone! Great for #datenight #girlsnight #solo #mothersday or getting delivered to have poolside! HIGHLY recommended.
I have been dying to try Aubi Ramsa since it first opened, but I have two toddlers so we don't get the opportunity to do adult-only outings. There aren't any non-alcoholic ice cream options available so leave the kids at home. My husband decided to surprise me and brought home several pints of Aubi Ramsa's alcohol infused ice cream. He picked out the strawberries and rose for myself and a Kentucky Bourbon Crem Brûlée for himself. I don't think it ever occurred to us that we wouldn't like the ice cream Aubi Ramsa. We like cocktails and we like ice cream so how could we not like boozy ice cream?!?! Unfortunately we just weren't fans of the tongue numbing concoctions. I was expecting the alcohol flavors to be so strong and the sorbet left my tongue numb and tingling after the third bite. Even though we weren't fans of the ice cream I did appreciate the beautiful packaging and quality ingredients. Aubi Ramsa doesn't use boxed wine or cheap liquor in their ice cream and sorbet. Perhaps we didn't order the right flavors? I would give them another chance before completely writing them off.
