Happy Family Chinese Takeaway

I’ve been coming to this chippy for 28 years. Only chippy I liked in Hyde. Went recently and was disappointed with my food. I’ve heard it’s changed hands now. Don’t think I’ll be going here again

The salt and pepper chicken pieces tasted like shrimp, the salt and pepper fries were tough, the BBQ ribs were dry and overcooked, as if they had been reheated or cooked for too long. The plain chow mein was decent, but it's not hard to mess up. The shrimp crackers were alright. Overall, we were disappointed with the poor quality of the food and won't be ordering from this restaurant again.

Horrible experience. The food was terrible and the fries had a foul odor. I wasted £30 on food that I couldn't even eat. Save your money and avoid this place.

We haven't tried the Chinese food here more than once, but it was nice. We do go here for fish and chips, though, whenever we fancy them. It's one of many in the area but our go-to. Chips and fish are always freshly cooked, hot and tasty, the value is good, and the gravy and curry sauce is very nice. Staff are welcoming and it's a very consistent place and one we've used for many years. Keep at it, guys!

Singapore chow mien (dry) and house special with cashew nuts, with fried rice. Fantastic, delivery excellent, very hot food. Thank you, you have a new customer.
