Pethers Rainforest Retreat

This restaurant is a real shade on the tamborine mountain. eating was delicious, we had the 5 course tasting dinner, it was fine eating, a taste sensation. the restaurant ambiente was beautiful and the staff was fabulous. if they expect to eat massive plates full, then this restaurant is not for them. the restaurant offers a limited number of people so that they can expect a peaceful, pleasant eating.

Great service, very attentive wait staff who were very friendly. Price for a degustation was reasonable but this reflected in the meal it was good but not great. Restaurant lacked a little in atmosphere also, but maybe it was a quiet night and it would humm a little more with a full house.

What a brilliant secret this gorgeous restaurant is. The setting is absolutely amazing- huge fire, massive windows with views to the rainforest and twinkling fairy lights. Waitstaff were friendly and helpful. And the FOOD divine! We had the 3 course menu. The pork belly was absolutely delicious, the fillet steak cooked perfectly and the brownie dessert was lovely. There were vegetarian options for every course and the chef has happy to cater for any dietary restrictions. We will definitely return.

Food was fantastic and the setting just stunning! we really enjoyed our dinner, the waitress went out of her way to allow us to sample 2 white wines to assist us in making our selection. Really good local selection of wines and food. Highly recommend and cant wait to come back!
