Orange Tree Breakfast Lunch - Tamarac

Used this site to select a place to have breakfast. Arrived about 9:30 am on a Saturday and all the tables were full. Some people, who do not have patients, might think this is a bad thing, I knew it was a good sign. Seated in only a few minutes and coffee and drinks arrived almost before I could open the menu. Jim Cook is right when he says this place has the best biscuits and sausage gravy. I have never found better. My wife had an omelette and enjoyed it very much. The waitress was always around and kept the drinks topped up. When the bill came it was very reasonable. The highlight of the visit was when the cashier asked my wife Where are you from? and after being told we had only recently moved to South Florida, she said I knew you weren 't from around here because you are both so nice and polite. We 'll be back.

This is the best place to eat! The food is great, Service is terrific and the waitresses are nice and friendly. They have Taylor ham and I've not had that since I left NJ. Prices are phenomenally low and you get a lot for your dollar here!

This is the best breakfast place in Broward County and totally affordable! I eat there pretty often and have never been disappointed with the menu or prices! Waitresses are great, good family place and in business for the last 31 yrs. A diamond in the rough You 'll love it!

I had the half order of sausage gravy and biscuit along with two eggs, it was the best I 've had in the Lauderdale area, my friend had grits and claimed they were the best also. Be aware that they do not take credit cards, only cash. You get a lot of bang for your dollar here.

Vintage homey feeling. friendly staff. Great price. Mom and Pop Square. Good food. Make my heart smile. Very rustic. Love goes here and definitely recommend for good south kitchen breakfast. One of my favorite things about here is that you can customize your order. The old school place makes me feel at home. Definitely hard to find these places now and days.
