Jū Jiǔ Wū Zāng - Takasago-shi

I visited this restaurant in Sukumo during my road bike trip. The interior has both a counter and tatami seating. The seating arrangement was spacious, likely due to COVID, which made it comfortable. The sashimi was fresh and the other dishes were delicious. The staff were friendly and engaging, which added to the cozy atmosphere. I would definitely want to visit this restaurant again when in Sukumo!

Delicious. Prices are reasonable. Especially good seafood and sashimi. In the early morning, I often see the owner carrying Styrofoam in front of the store. I wonder if they are preparing every morning? The owner is gentle and doesn't seem to have high blood pressure. The cozy atmosphere at the spacious counter is recommended for drinking alone or with one or two people.

The sashimi and yakitori are delicious. The service is also good. It's clear that it's popular with the locals. I've been to several other izakayas in Sukumo, but this one is in a class of its own. I definitely want to visit this place again next time I'm in Sukumo.

とても美味しかったです。焼き鳥の皮は表面パリパリ、中はジューシー。絶品です。 お店の皆さんはとても気さくで、楽しく飲めました。
