Kamalig Bar and Restaurant - Taiwala

I ordered steak but received pork chop. There was only 1 chef for many tables. It took 45 minutes before the food was served.

On the road leading down to Alona Beach, just after the barrier on the right, there is a small restaurant that is often packed. Despite what Giuseppe may think, it serves the best Italian cuisine in Panglao (pasta, pizza, etc.). The only downside is the owner behind the bar and the staff, who all seem as smiley as prison doors.

I have eaten in several places in the Philippines, but never as well as at Cristiano's. The food is prepared with love as only an Italian knows how to do. The staff at Kamalig Rest ora (now Graziella restaurant) is also excellent. The fish, meat, appetizers, salads, and desserts are exquisite.
