Lilla Pärlan - Taivassalo

Love the location, floating over the sea. Menu looks good, but we have been unlucky couple of times with our pizza choices. We do Love the place though, do we keep on coming back and enjoying ice cream and coffee in the evening sun.

We were driving around the archipelago of northwest Finland when we came across this wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere we experienced when we visited the restaurant and terrace. The service was excellent. I 'm still missing this on little think when someone says to us, Welcome to our restaurant, and asks how I can help you.

The restaurant is an old fish processing plant brought from Sweden. Its been been renovated into a modern/industrial feel. Thanks to the large windows on all sides you can enjoy the archipelago while seated inside, or you can venture outside and take use of the large terrace. If you arrive by boat you can dock right to the restaurant, as it doubles as a pier.

Excellent barbecue food, tasty sides. Impeccable views.

Very nice restaurant on water. Good food, friendly personnel and inviting atmosphere.
