Bidrage med feedbackOne of the best Indian restaurants in Taiwan, and certainly my favorite so far. Everything is filled with spices and taste, and the owner has obviously gone to great lengths to restore an authentic taste without impairing authenticity or changing everything to fit with local taste. I wish more restaurants had confidence. Another plus: the service is great. This is one of the few restaurants in Taiwan where someone asked me if the food is okay, just after my meal and dinner. Every restaurant worth its salt should do this in my opinion, but in Taiwan this seems to be the exception. Very recommended!
Just one of the best Indian food I ever had in Taiwan. Actually, I didn't expect the food to have so much taste. But it was beyond expectations and the rate was reasonable. Wonder why such restaurants never go to Taipei or more crowded places. 10/10 strongly recommend eating in Taitung. Finally, the cook and service was great..
A great place for authentic Indian and Thai cuisine. It is hard to find such fusion cuisine that is both good and here it is, in a remote district. Both the cook and the owner had spent a lot of time learning this kitchen from the host countries. I came here to taste Indian cuisine on the first day when I found it on Yelp, and the next day came to the invitation of the owner to try Thai cuisine. The owner told me that the business is more of an art for them that they never plan to arrange a business, but want to devote themselves to preserving the authenticity of the kitchen.
The Indian Chicken Curry was extremely delicious and seasoned on my medium request. The chicken was very well prepared melt in your mouth soft, but not overcooked. There were rice and fruit and interesting elephant ear roasted bread. I had her imported Thai Leo brand beer (Singha). Praveen and his wife Yiling (sp. were very attentive and checked that everything was done to my taste. They are wonderful people and it was a pleasure to meet them.
Everything was delicious and the staff is very nice and you can tell they're very hard working. They come out to assist people very quickly when the bell is rung. You get curry, rice, naan, and some fruit for only $280, which is a very reasonable price for Indian food in Taiwan. I love curry, and their chickpea curry was wonderful. I'll definitely come by again if I'm ever back in Taitung!
