Bidrage med feedbackWe dined at Jia Yi Dao. They offer a lunch buffet with a variety of 20 different sauces to accompany brown or white rice. Unlike most Chinese vegetable buffets, their dishes were not overly salty or oily, and there were fewer meat options. The buffet featured a wide selection of greens, vegetables, mushrooms, and tofu. Some of my favorite dishes were Luffa gourds with tofu, Kabocha squash with a type of green bean (not fava beans, but similar in shape), and stir-fried greens with black mushrooms and goji berries. The cost per person, including lemon juice, was 6.50 bells.
Jia Yi Dao offers the best lunch buffet in the city. While there are larger and cheaper options available, this restaurant stands out for its wide variety of delicious choices. Just be sure to arrive before 12:30 to ensure you get the full selection. Dinner, however, may not be as impressive. It's pricier and the food isn't as tasty compared to the lunch buffet.
