Bidrage med feedbackI was looking for something near where I was in Taipei for a quick bite, and this place matched the bill. Your signature dish is noodles in this medical broth from Chinese fishing. It is not one of my favorite flavors, so I asked for vegetable noodles (NT$60) instead. What I did not recognize was that they also have a medical vegetable noodle dish (NT$70), which the owner ended to serve me. I felt bad about correcting them and wasting food, so I ate it anyway. It tasted pretty good instead of overwhelming like other experiences I had with medical broths in Taiwan. I also tried to order the vegan aal (NT$25) and the vegetable roll (NT$20) from the menu, but both have already sold. She suggested I show up earlier when I want a larger selection. Instead, I looked at the available items on the counter and pointed to the roasted Tofu skin (NT$15), which she cut into bite size and served on a dish separated from my noodle dish. She asked if I wanted Cilantro, and I guess she offered it. A few minutes after I put myself on one of the four tables inside, my food arrived. It was satisfied and comforting. Do not pay attention to the repetitive Buddhist music that radiates from the old CD player at the first table: it is part of the experience.
