It is a very authentic Japanese izakaya kitchen running from a Taiwanese couple. the excellent cutting technique of the chef offers a banquet for both augenzunge. the hostess is very kind and strives to share you know about Japanese food. in consideration of the fresh tasty eating, almost art like plating and the relaxing mood here, I think the price is quite reasonable.

So this one of these places where they prepare and the owner prepares several dishes on the basis of their pre-ordered price point. what an absolutely delightful experience with amazing food! the owners are super friendly, the dishes are fresh and kreatiw, the place is small but beautifully decorated. first I was a little concerned about the amount of food as I have an appetit. to my delightful surprise, the owner ensured that both my friend and I were full and even offered us more when we were hungry. would most def comeback for around two, 5 stars all the way!

Yummy eating and fantastic relaxed atmosphere. Chef and hostess/woman were super gracious and nice. we were one of the last customers there and the chef even took out his old saxophone and began to play for us! great cheap neighbour Japanese food compound. in any case:

The Jiro of Taiwan definitely one of Taipei 's best kept secrets. We were treated to lunch by a local and what a treat! 10 dishes served Omakase style capped off by a refreshing fresh fruit dessert. Every dish is a masterpiece work of art and absolutely delicious! All this at a fraction of the price compared to the large upscale restaurants in Taipei and global metro cities. My wife and I are heading back here for New Year 's eve.
