Great place for a fast delicious bite with a view! Even better if you're here before ethyl has to come to Bingo Night. Seriously, but it's good to come here 4:30 -5:30. Bar menu is very satisfied. And a few nights they have specials. The view of the lake is great and the service is friendly, fast and efficient. We also have dinner here on the terrace in summer, and full dinner menu. Good pasta and seafood.

Proven zukini pizza with goat cheese, it was delicious. It was little on the sweet side because of the raisins and cranberries, but I never had pizza with nuts, worth a try. The burger was okay. The view from the terrace is simply amazing.

The fried chicken Tuesday special advertised on Google and I had to try. Plant a whole day of activities in and around Tahoe City to try the after 5 special. We arrived after 5:00. Immediately missed. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Arnold Palmers were great. The starter bread had a hint of tomatoes and came to diving with a creamy vinegrette. We ordered 2 fried chicken specialties and an order from Brusselsprossen. The menu reads fried brussel sprouts with lemon . They came perfectly fried, but Super Heavy on the lemon. But the roasted chicken special was worth my day in Tahoe City. It came with 2 pieces of white meat, juicy, but with a crunchy. A shovel of potatoes with sweet corn. The corn had red peppers and bacon pieces that went perfectly together. Enjoy this meal; would recommend to everyone!

I have lived 10 years in the north of Tahoe/Truckee area and have eaten at most restaurants, if not all. Za’s has the highest rated food in the area, they do not have the best ambience in the area, the servers are not top Notch in the area, it is not the cheapest restaurant in the area etc... BUT they are excellent at EVERYTHING great food, great atmosphere and view (right by the lake), fantastic cocktails/bar, very friendly service and decent rates (for Tahoe)... Add everything up and it's my top 3 places to eat in all the tahoe/trucke for a good dinner!

My wife I have traveled to a lot of places and eaten at many many restaurants. This place is top notch! One of the only places that I feel the jerk chicken was spot on! The atmosphere and music was great! We had the best server who made us feel welcome and not rushed at all. The bartender took great care of us as well. By far one of the best places we have been. Keep up the hospitality and great food! Thanks Patti for making us feel like part of the family!
