Bidrage med feedbackI really love the taste of Kani Salad..the colors of fresh salad are so extraordinary. The dressing has an extra taste that I really like.???????? I cant wait to try the bbq grilled????????
I have a thing for wagyu beef cubes so wheen I saw that Yakitori One had them I didn't hesitate to order immediately. I know that it's nit as appealing as it looks, but it is delicious -- the juiciness and flavors just burst after every bite. Kinda regret buying only one stick. But it just gives me more reason to go back. ☺️
Love the fact that you can see the food being grilled before they serve it, I like the flavors, so unique for me. Will definitely come back with my friends and eat, and taste other combinations.
Place (5/10) - since Yakitori One is part of SM's food court, tables are quite messy but it still manageable and we were able to het a seat near it. Staff (10/10) - staffs are polite and very accomodating. Food (6/10) - ordered Chicken Thigh Chickendon + Miso Soup + Iced Tea + Kani Salad and Create Your Own Don (Y1 Rice + Sausage Bacon Wrap + Chicken Bell Pepper + Miso Soup + Diet Coke. Rice is still good, the rice that they used has a taste of sweetness in it and the ulam is still quite good. It just lacked the heat, it's like it was cooked minutes before they beeped us to get our orders. Miso soup was great! Kani salad is still ok.
The term "yakitori" can also refer to skewered food in general. The Filipino version of which is called Barbeque. I've been to Yakitori One multiple times, i have an affinity with skewered food. I may have tried almost everything in their menu. From the hypertension-inducing chicken skin down to the fried tofu. We got a boatload of skewered stuff today and i managed to take one photo...ugh. The standouts are the following: Quail Eggs wrapped in Bacon. Everything tastes good with bacon. This is a fact. Salmon Belly Skewers with Green & Red Bell Pepper. The only beef i have is that, there is not enough salmon belly! There are three bite sized pieces in my skewer. Good thing they added some red and bell pepper otherwise I'd go berserk. Chicken Karaage. Meh! Chicken is too dry and the exterior is not as crispy as I hoped for. Oh, the sausage wrapped in bacon is goo too.
