Bidrage med feedbackWe were hoping to enjoy a nice meal before our son leaves for school. He wanted to try Filipino comfort food, so we ordered the sizzling sisig, oxtail kare kare, and sinigang baboy. The sisig had to be sent back because it wasn't sizzling, but they eventually got it right. The kare kare was lukewarm and didn't look fresh, and the portion size was disappointing. The sinigang baboy was also served at room temperature and the meat was tough. We didn't finish the soup. The only redeeming dish was the second attempt at the sisig, which was better. We ordered the ube bibingka for dessert, but it was unimpressive. The halo halo was nothing special either. In conclusion, Manam has a great location and represents Filipino cuisine, but the food quality was poor and we wouldn't recommend it to others. There are better options available.
The arroz caldo is delicious, as well as the three types of bibinka. The ube is the standout, followed by the regular and then the leche flan. It's a must-try to sample all three. However, the coffee is mediocre.
We had an amazing dining experience with outstanding service. We tried 5 or 6 different dishes and all of them were excellent. Our Filipino colleagues recommended some dishes from the menu, and they were truly delicious. The service was exceptional, with friendly and prompt staff. The violet yamshake was as big as the mango, but even bigger! We would definitely go back and recommend this restaurant.
Our family loves her famous house crispy sisig. to know you sisig, chicharon has slightly sprinkled on the top, which adds crispy feeling in every bite. but not wrong, even the sisig itself is crispy already. we would definitely come back for more!
Contrary to the reviews, we had a good meal and service at Manam. The staff were attentive and even acceded to our request to make the food less salty. Overall, it was the best local food we have tried it the past 4 days.
