Piccolo Lido - TAGGIA

My family and I spent just over a week at the beach at Piccolo Lido during the July/August period. We were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant: the food was quite good. And whilst the menu doesn’t necessarily have ‘vegan’ options, the staff and owners will try their best to accomodate your dietary requirements (for instance, you can have a pizza with various vegetables, minus, cheese; Contadino Salad (minus chicken) they’ll happily add potato and other ingredients to make it more filling for you; all types of spaghetti with various sauces). Whilst the staff might seem distant at first and rushed, they were amicable and friendly, easy to have a conversation with. The beach: we bought a package for sun beds and umbrella for the week that way we had the same spot every day. Moreover the beach/sand was quite clean. They have pedal boats (Pedalo) for rent. The lifeguards are always watchful, specially for the kids Franco, the lifeguard was very friendly. Overall, a very friendly and nice place. Wouldn’t hesitate going back. If you need anything, just politely ask for it.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here in August, enjoyed the well kept beach and yummy traditional Italian food at the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and accommodating (particular as we made special requests for adaptations to dishes). They also have delicious homemade ice cream across the street with a large variety of flavors. We were warmly welcomed every day by the owners.

The ordered food is completed disaster. Ordered a steak and it was given as raw. After complain nothing better. The worst place to visit for food. Better to search for another place if you want to avoid disappointment!!! Will never come back to this place.

Abbiamo mangiato una buona frittura di totani, un buono spada, ottimo servizio e prezzi nella norma. Ci ritorneremo senz'altro!

Bella la spiaggia ma improponibile il ristorante, troppa attesa, spaghetti ai frutti di mare troppo cari e non buoni
