Bidrage med feedbackHad dinner here recently best restaurant experience my wife and I have ever had in Tacoma. Nice, knowledgeable staff with the perfect balance of knowing when to check on you and leaving you alone. Knew everything about the food for the day. Great food, good wine selection, all the employees were very friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere in an old, converted single family home. Highly recommend the caprese salad.
Excellent meal, but come hungry for the tasting menu. We ordered wine, oysters, and the tasting menu. Got one of each option. Oysters were fresh and the mignonette options were tasty. I preferred the spicy one. I liked the caprese better than the pickled vegetables, but the smoked seafood was unique and fun. For the pasta course, both options were awesome, but it's a lot of food portion wise so you may want to box half. For the main course the game hen was memorably the best item of the evening. Nicely crispy and juicy. Desserts were a hazelnut mousse and a fruit tart. Both were tasty although I'm not partial to hazelnut.Probably a good place for an anniversary or special night out. It's fancy and takes time. We arrived at 7 and left close to 10 but we did the tasting menu that takes longer than ala carte). Dress fancy or dress casual is appropriate.I wouldn't bring kids, but there were some middle school age ones around and they did alright.Parking was plentiful. I'd go again and order the caprese and chicken again.
Our waitress Chi was fantastic, providing detailed information about the specials and menu items. She also mentioned portion sizes and suggested the 4 course special, which we gladly accepted. Be warned, you will leave feeling very satisfied. The food was superb and we left delighted. We will definitely be returning. Chi even asked about any dietary restrictions, showing great attention to detail.
Wonderful dining experience! We had a small family gathering at Crudo Cotto. The food we shared around the table and the paired wines were perfect. This is a lovely restaurant.
Very happy with our meal here. I came in VERY underdressed (came here last minute with no time to change and I was worried I'd be treated like I didn't belong, or looked down on. Not so. Our server and another gentleman (maybe the owner? were so kind to us. They did not bat an eye at my request for ketchup for my french fries and even went as far as to make me homemade ketchup. My server also made me a delicious peach drink that wasn't on the menu. Food was excellent, the prosciutto wrapped peaches were particularly out of this world. We'll be back.
