Had sweet sour few nights ago. It was awful! It was like deep fried chicken skin. It was so overcooked it was like rubber. No matter how much I chewed it wouldn't break down enough to swallow. My husband and son tried it. My son said it was like chewing wood. The prices on the online menu were nowhere near what was actually charged. The online price was 8.49. The actual was 11.99. When I asked the lady at the counter about it she didn't seem too worried about it. She said her prices were like all the other restaurants. When I ordered nothing was mentioned about prices. She took the order and hung up before I could even give her a name or ask what the charges were. I get that prices have gone up but that was quite a jump! False advertising! Awful food. Don't go here. How they got 4 starts on YELP is beyond me.

This is the most amazing place I have ever been. Service is down home wife and husband combo. The flavor is a depth I haven't had in a long time. Price is on par and size of portion is amazing.Food: 5/5

Oh man. I found this place because of a reddit post. But drove by it one day thinking that place looks a bit run down, the food must be amazing. (The places that have some soul usually have the best food) It didn't disappoint at all. I personally make my own teriyaki sauces and think it's the best, but they blew mine out of the water. Highly recommend trying this place. Plus it's very cheap and you get a good value for your . They could probably raise the prices a few dollars to make sure they don't struggle cause i want this restaurant around awhile.

Absolutely amazing!! This place serves solid portions for a great price. I usually get the Teriyaki Chicken Katsu combo and it is spectacular and consistent every time. This is easily my go-to teriyaki place in Tacoma
