Sake Japan Hibachi Ramen - Syracuse

A solid bowl of Ramen all around. I've had better and I've had worse. The portion size was adequate, the flavor of the broth, meat and other add in's were pleasant. Nothing really to complain about and nothing off that would prevent me from a repeat visit.It's worth a try.

After shopping at Destiny USA, I stopped by the food court for a bite. I decided on Sake Japan which serves hibachi meals, ramen udon noodles, d'lite meals, maki rolls, egg rolls, bubble tea drinks, and Pepsi fountain and bottled drinks. I decided on the Tonkatsu Ramen $11.49 plus tax), which was prepared to order and hot and ready within 10 minutes. The Ramen bowl had tender slices of roast pork, soft ramen noodles, seaweed, hard boiled egg, sliced fish cake, sesame seeds, onion crisps, in a hot tonkatsu broth. It was a tasty and filling bowl of noodle soup, very good for food court standards.

First off I love everyone until they give me a reason not to and I am not racist but I am very blunt; I ordered my food before the two white kids who walked up behind me did. I was there 8 min before they came up. I ordered stir fried rice with shrimp: the shrimp were tiny, the cabbage was brown, and the rice was not fresh at all. The taste was very bland and plain, I had to add soy sauce just to eat the food. This wasn’t even worth the $10 spent. It should be $5.95 because this is not it. Long story short the young lady who ordered 8 minutes after me ordered chicken me being a cook know that shrimp take up to 15 minutes to cook and chicken takes a little longer (I said up to 15 minutes and I stood there for 8 minutes before she came my food was more than half way done) about 5 minutes later I heard the cashier call a number so I went up and asked if it was mine and was told no. I was a little upset because I’m a peaceful kind loving deep dark skinned woman and everytime I leave my house I regret it because so many people try to make me feel less than through stereotypes or fear of the unknown. I was happy up until I came to this place to be treated like I wasn’t there and tasting the food made it worse.

I've eaten here several times. Food is always hot and fresh. Usually my go-to spot for food at the mall.

Not bad. Had better in other places but it was good. Got more than I could eat from 1 order.
