Lab Kitchen Five Dock - Sydney

My husband always enjoys the scrambled egg wrap with tomato relish, while my daughter loves the beef burger. We were impressed that they even asked how we would like the burger cooked. The chips are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. All of the food items are of high quality, with no greasy or fatty cuts of meat. The coffee is also very good. The staff are extremely friendly. I believe they should promote their food offerings more, as we initially thought they only served coffee, juices, and cakes.

I love a cafe that serves a great all-day breakfast menu, and The Lab Kitchen has a variety of dishes that will please even the pickiest eaters. Additionally, they also have a large half-liter beaker of iced taro latte available.

Great coffee place with good vibe and super helpful friendly staff. Looks small from the outside, but there’s plenty of room. It even has a small playground if you go with kids! Extended trading hours makes it very convenient as well. Pro tip: tap water is fresh and a hint of lemon juice. Loved it.

The staff were genuinely warm and the atmosphere was relaxing: with jazz music, outdoor greenery and respectable patrons (it has a kids play area so could be noisy at times, but it was quiet at the time of the visit). Food was nutritious and tasty. I really enjoyed my tea simple choice but surprisingly good quality with a gentle flavour that developed well.

Yesterday, we had a wonderful experience at this cafe. The staff were extremely attentive and did not hurry us out like other cafes. The play area in the back is perfect for children, and the way they served desserts was creative and enjoyable.
