Gözleme King - Sydney

I may be biased in giving a 5-star rating because I had never heard of gozleme before, but after trying it for the first time at this restaurant, I absolutely loved it! It's like a covered pizza, but with even more flavor. I tried two varieties, tandoori chicken which had a bit of spice, and chicken mushroom, both of which were delicious. The gozleme already has a lot of sauces mixed in, but they also serve a mayo-like sauce to dip it in, along with half a lemon which enhances the flavor even more. I haven't been to Turkey, so I can't speak to how authentic it is as street food, but if you enjoy good food and want to try something new, I highly recommend it. The restaurant is located on the ground floor and I would definitely go back for more.

This is another restaurant that I frequent often. I enjoy their spinach and feta gozleme, but I have also been pleasantly surprised by their Nutella options. The earthy and nutty flavors are also delicious.

While I haven't been to Turkey to compare it to authentic street food, I would highly recommend trying it if you love good food and want to try something new. I tried a sweet gozleme and unfortunately it was overwhelming for me. it was a bit too thick with a filling that was a little too short for my lust. the economical gozleme looked much better.
