Bidrage med feedbackNot my favourite degustation menu, too many seafood dishes. $400 for dinner and some drinks. I was expected to be wowed. The desserts were a real let down. I felt sick after the meal.
I have dined at Bentley several times and as always the service and ambience in the restaurant were perfect. However I didn't feel the food was as good as I have had in my past visits. This was disappointing as I organised the venue with three of my friends and had highly recommended it.
Overall had a good experience. Food and drinks were fantastic. However 2 issues bothered me which is what prompted this review. I did the 8 course degustation for 5 people. For last two courses (desserts) we were given 4 desserts to share among 5 people. This seemed quite stingy considering I paid $165 PER PERSON for the degustation so I would expect everyone would get the same amount of food. Was this an oversight or bad menu design? Also my dad’s birthday went unacknowledge despite notice
High quality food wine but some parts of the table service could be improved (lacked some finesse and rushed); sommelier was very good.
Best meal I've had in Sydney we went with the 7 course tasting menu which was absolutely amazing. Great variety and perfect sized portions, wagyu shoulder was a standout. Dessert wasn't as good as the rest of the meal however was still delicious! Friendly and attentive staff too. A wonderful experience.
