De Acquaviva - Sycamore

Ristorante Di Acquaviva is a very nice little restaurant in Sycamore. I came here with my girlfriend on Valentine's Day, and the service and food were both impeccable. We had a reservation, and we were allowed to choose the table where we would like to sit. From the minute we went, the entire staff was very polite and accommodating. On food: I order the lamb to chop meal, and while only in the title, it came boiled with 3 massive lamb chops to perfection, a long one with a variety of vegetables and potatoes. I was skeptical an out the meal due to the great price tag of 40$ for only my plate, but boy was definitely worth it. She got the fillet, that was a costly 42 or so dollars, but it was very big and well cooked. Her plate came with 3 bacon wrapped bundles of asparagus, and then the same row of vegetables and potatoes. While this meal cost me over $100, I can say with a clear mind that it was actually worth it. This is definitely a place to come only for special events, because it will make a big dent on your wallet, but you will not leave disappointed. If I manage to get enough money to come back here, I'll be absolutely there. It was a very romantic, fun and fabulous meal.

Food was excellent. Frutti di Mare should die. The manager was waiting for us. He was excellent. The wine Don Giuseppe was great. Everything about great experience.

Large Italian-style restaurant in downtown Sycamore. General portions for their meals. I had the salmon with risotto and vegetables.

Our server was the highlight of my visit. His knowledge and description of my selection of food and drinks was on site. My New York steak, potatoes and vegetables were boiled to my taste. His choice was great. The appetizer at our table and next to us, we're both sent back. Our bruschetta and their were seafood. The women's bath needed attention. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could.
