Abe's Cakes - Swindon

Besides his delicious cakes Abe also produces brilliant vegetarian lunches. I had a fabulous dosa, followed by two small cakes. Everything was bursting with flavour and freshly made. Great value for money.

Good fresh Indian street food, the Pani Puri, Bhel Pav Bhaji are excellent and great prices. Great place for lunch.

I Googled for a good cake shop in Swindon and Abe's cakes came up with good rating but few in Trip advisor said the other way particularly about the lady, so I called them to enquire about the cake and I guess the same reviewed lady attended my call and answered my questions in a matured professional manner and for further discussion she asked me to come to the shop and I went in the next day with my family,to our surprise they not only do cakes but we tried their tastiest Indian chats and authentic masala dosa with homemade Indian Chai.Everything was delicious and I got to see the lady who almost single handedly handled every customer in there and she was opposite to the said reviews, most of her customers were happy with her and she polietely explained the cakes, enquired our requirements and every detail we gave her was carefully noted down, no need to say the cake was just the way we wanted and tasted heavenly. Abe's cakes makes the best cakes and I told all my friends about them, a huge shout out , no one is good enough for everyone, the lady did her best to me and she even opened the door to another customer, I am happy with her service and with her cakes. This is the least I could do for another woman. Thank you Abe's cakes, you got one happy customer.

We have been purchasing Abe's cakes for 3 years now his cakes are simply the best. The taste defies expectations the attention to detail is so good that sometimes we actually felt that it should just be admired. The problem is that once you start eating his cakes, you can't stop. Abe helps us create memories and for that we are all indebted to him. Another cake is now on order and we can't wait to grab a piece.

I enjoyed the most delicious fish Thali. Every dish was bursting with flavours and taste. The fish was perfectly cooked and spiced beautifully. Served with it, to add a taste of sweetness, was a light gulab jamun or any other of his wonderful little sweets. I thoroughly enjoyed the sugar cane juice with a touch of ginger and lime it was cooling and fresh. Abe may be primarily a brilliant cake maker but he also produces top quality Indian food.
