Excellent food and service But the decor looks tired and could do with sprucing up

I would like to thank Rebecca for her service today, she was extremely attentive to us and our 3 babies and very polite and friendly, what a lovely young lady

Called in for lunch on 27th Feb. Easy to park. Despite only two tables being occupied and plenty being available, it took a while for the one staff member present to show us to a table. Steak ale pie tasty but pastry very soggy, tuna mayo jacket underwhelming.

Quiet when we arrived but got busier later. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Food was good. Enjoyed.

Lomg wait for food but it was worth it.Beautiful dinner, home made, roasties were delicious. Nice range of veg red cabbage,broccoli,carrots, cauliflower peas ,yorkshire, mash, stuffing. The best In the area we will be back.
