Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

One of the worst experiences I've ever had with food.Biscuits were delivered and sat in front of us for 20 minutes as we had no silverware, no butter and no jelly. Had to ask multiple times before it finally arrived. At that point biscuits had to be reordered as they were frozen.The food was disastrous. It took well over half an hour and when it arrived I was completely floored. The cook should be ashamed of themselves. The picture speaks for itself.Look and tell me what you think I ordered. Answer is below.I will never go back to that location. That was appalling. Wait time longer than expected. The store is full of all kinds of things which are pretty and useful but very pricey. I was there for dinner and lunch the next day.Seated quickly, dinner was the Maple Bacon Chicken which wasn't a good combination in my opinion.Lunch was slammed busy! Wait time was much longer than told and I had to go in to see where we stood in the queue. Got in, wait staff was slammed too. I have no fault with the waiter he absolutely did his best! I got the French Toast which was soaked in butter, adding syrup couldn't change the odd taste.It seems like the food just isn't as good as it used to be.

The food was terrible. My wife's meatloaf meal was barely warm and the meatloaf was dried out. Looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp and then nuked. Sent it back and didn't ask for a replacement. My Grandmas breakfast was about the same except for the eggs which were a blob! The pancakes and meats were also dried out. I asked for crispy bacon and sent it back because it was 60-70% fat through and through. When asked at checkout I told them it was terrible! They did not offer to reduce the check. Probably won't be going back there.

I love this place.The restaurant is clean and the food was delicious, and the store has so many things that I have to buy always some candy ??

Service was good. server is new. he took his game to a different level than I stopped him. Eat is always cracker barrel good. Chicken fried chicken is better than the chicken fried steak. apfelbutter was the best I had for a long time.
