L Amarre - Surtainville

We were staying at the Chateau du Rozel and needed a place for dinner on Sunday. Almost nothing was open, but we found L'Amarre. Basic burger place, but friendly service, American classic rock playing, decent food and clean restaurant and rest rooms. Don't expect fancy dining, but perfectly suitable for a casual meal.

Surprising in kindness and meals were delicious. The director told us that he remembered us and that was true we had come two years ago. He remembered the family, was adorable as with each guest, full of small attention for children and meals were delicious. He was doing tailor-made dishes to please. Never seen this in any restaurant. Exceptional!

Passing on the GR of the Cotentin tower we found in Surtainville an excellent restaurant; the Amarre and an excellent gite; the Palmeraie. I recommend both
