Wandee Thai - Surry Hills

The restaurant had authentic decor and ambiance, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The food was not bad, but it was not what I had hoped for. The average rating may not be entirely fair, as the meal was still edible.

My sister and I have dined at this restaurant several times. Unfortunately, Uber failed to send a driver to pick up our food. However, when I called the restaurant, the manager was incredibly apologetic and personally delivered the food to us himself. I was so moved by this gesture and it made the wait worth it. The food was amazing, especially the laksa which I ordered and was very impressed by. The spring rolls were also delicious.

We had never visited this restaurant before, but decided to try it out on a rainy night. After waiting for an hour, we received a notification on the app that our order was still "ready". I called the restaurant directly and they informed me that the food was prepared, but the delivery driver never arrived. The person on the phone was very apologetic and offered to personally deliver our food. When he arrived, he not only had our original order, but also a freshly prepared dish added to ensure we had at least one hot item on our plate. Despite the food being slightly cold, it was delicious and the service we received was exceptional. We have now found our new favorite Thai restaurant in Sydney.

This can simply miss, as it is not a grill, but is destined to visit! big Thai food always cooked to the flavor they desire. are very generous and very fast service. the chicken penang is particularly good!

I eat lunch here regularly as it is very close to my office and I can’t speak highly enough of it. Yummy food, served quick and hot by very friendly staff. My fave is the chicken Tom Yum, but the entire menu looks great. At...lunchtimes you can have a standard menu item and a drink for $10! Check it out
