Sushi Train Oxford Square - Surry Hills

Tucked just inside an unassuming arcade this is train serves delicious, smokey and upbeat sushi train fare. It's hard not to pop in and have a few dishes after you've done the shopping.

This small sushi train offers very good value for money since the small portion is sold for AU$3 each. The little train circulates on the counter around which the guests are installed while the cooks bustle about restocking the train. Everything is good and fresh. The Japanese staff are welcoming and friendly. A faultless one. I recommend it.

This sushi restaurant is small with counter seating and a few tables with bench seating. All dishes cost $3.30, with a good variety including sashimi tuna. The service is friendly and attentive. It's recommended to arrive early as it gets crowded quickly. All the dishes we tried were fresh and delicious.

These conveyor style restaurants need a good turnover of hungry customers to ensure that the food stays fresh. Thankfully, Sushi Train has that. Sushi Train has a run of the mill menu and looks-wise is nothing to write home about, but for freshness and quality it is an above average sushi venue. Good prices too.

Always found friendly service here.. The stools you sit on are a bit hard but you can tolerate them for the time you are there. Sushi was fresh and delicious. This shop is in the entrance to the Oxfod Square Shopping mallnon Oxford Street.
