Bidrage med feedbackOh my goodness! This place is incredible! We have visited twice already and plan to go again tomorrow. The latte is amazing and the food is hands down the best breakfast I have ever had! This is a must-visit place for sure!
During our month-long visit to Australia, this restaurant quickly became our favorite spot for breakfast. Everything we tried was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly.
I frequently visit Sticky Fingers while living in the area. The food is fantastic and the coffee is the best around. The café experienced a temporary closure and a limited menu at one point, but the new owner quickly turned it into a wonderful spot despite facing two lockdowns in their first two years of operation, which must have been extremely challenging. The owner and staff are always kind, and it's a pleasant experience every time I visit. The dining options are great, especially for vegetarians like myself. I highly recommend this place.
We had visited sticky fingers in 2015 but were not back just because it had fallen from our radar. we saw that recently a few foodie friends came to the caffe and it seemed as if the caffe had put it up safely and that was amazing. So we decided to make a return. the changed property also meant a new menu, a new decoration and a baptizing pulsating staff at the tip. the caffe is located on a side street, pelican street, directly on the oxford st sydney, with a large corner room. there are some tables outside when they want to eat, or in the sun or with their puppies. in the interior there are plenty of space, minimalist gray decoration, concrete floors, hanging plants and a flowering atmosphere of happy customers. when entering the caffe, they also see the exposed kitchen where they can see the busy chefs at work. the main counter has a visible window to present their Sonoma bakeries and on the neighboring bank is a large la Marzocco coffee machine that dumps a good coffee with seven miles beans. her cold drip, served with a cube of ice and dark chocolate buttons, was excellent, and her flat white was even better made with her barista coffee art on the display. if they are not in coffee, no care, there are many juices, smoothies, ice drinks, tee, milkshakes and if there is a reasonable time – maybe a beer, wein or cocktail! the chefs are certainly excellent, because there is not only an extensive all-day breakfast menu, but also a lunch menu, with each and every dish that has so many in the house has made features that we are not sure how they manage it all! but they do, and they do well. we love that their meals included in house made ingredients. the summer breakfast had two posing eggs, perfectly boiled, sitting on homemade beet root relish, wild spinach and Persian greasa, served on their home grilled maisbrot. the maisbrot is something of the best we had – beautiful taste, light and soft and safe very full. their rührei were also excellent, with house made pesto, red chili and 2 slices sonoma brot. we loved eating that we had. her menu has so many interesting options for brekkie, her pulled bark benedict is very popular, or a chorizo scramble to name some. for the sweet tooth around, their ricotta hotcakes are the must order. there are so many great dishes, they can really get back and forth. we look forward to return to try the lunch menu soon.
We were having lunch today in this place and we loved it!! It is a cute café with very freshly and healthy food. Just what we need after a walk in a hot day. I loved my poke bowl and my smoothie and the cake...with mascarpone was delicious, we couldn’t even finish it because it was huge! The location is great, very close to Hyde park. We walked from the opera house and it took us just 20 minutes. In a nice day it is a nice walk through the parks. Also the staff was so nice. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area, I will come back for sure!
