Service (5/5): Excellent. Welcoming, friendly and quick Food (5/5): A kurtosh from Kurtosh is a must try for any dessert lover! Shown in the photos is the pistachio version. The various other pastries and cakes at the store also go down very well Ambience (5/5): Brick walls with wood interior make a great urban old school atmosphere. The areas where the pastries are being made is open for all to see which is awesome Overall: Must try, worth your money
Kurtosh is something I had been meaning to try for so so long! From outside it really looks like such a sweet and warm cafe, we just had to try it all out. We ordered the caramelised hazelnut kurtosh and boy was it delicious! The only thing... it honestly took forever for us to be served. Apart from this, I loved the array of sweet treats they had on sale. The range included baked cheesecake, to gluten free cakes, to brownies, to sponges... and I wanted to try so so so many of them! The Kurtosh however was extremely filling, and we actually couldn't even finish it. The kurtosh was delicious, warm, and sweet which was so perfect for the cold weather outside. I definitely want to come back and try some of their other toppings! :)
Find us on instagram: loveatfirstbite_aus Great dessert place in Surry Hills that does the classic Hungarian pastry as well as a range of other sweet pastries and cakes, we ordered the kurtosh which was authentic and came fresh and warm as well as the strawberry sponge cake, white chocolate brownie and the tiramisu, and everything tasted amazing. Would recommend for any sweet tooth!
Really cool and unique dessert bar in Surry Hills. Loved the Kürtosh. Friends and I tried Nutella, cinnamon, and Nutella coconut Kürtosh's. Service is friendly and welcoming! Definitely worth a stop in!
