Elephant Jump - Surry Hills

I had the prawn cakes as a teaser and then the beef salad for the main event....  the chilli levels in my curry was like pain and bliss all at once and the extra serving of beef was a generous amount for the tiny $2.50 surcharge. Great friendly proactive service!

The starters were terrible from here, I'd have rated higher if it wasn't for them. However, the rad na was pretty good. The fried rice was decent. The service was great. They also made the salads with lime juice. Thumbs up for that one, as some places use lemon here. Tom Yum was hot and sour, but could have been better. I'd eat here again.

Love all the curries, so creamy and tasty, and with the right amount of spices. Staff are very friendly. Prices are good. No EFTPOS available though.

If i'm around Central and hungry i'll usually come here for a $10 meal. Whenever I have Thai, i usually order Laksa and it's disappointing that at Elephant
