Chef's Tandoor - Surrey Hills

Previous Review: We decided to order Uber Eats today instead of going out for dinner since we had the fire going. We both were in the mood for Indian food, so we chose from the Chef's Tandoor menu. We ordered the Chicken Tikka appetizer, Butter Chicken, Naan, and rice. The Chicken Tikka came with a small salad, lemon wedges, and 8 pieces of tender boneless chicken that was mildly spiced. It was a fantastic version of Chicken Tikka and KD really enjoyed it. The Butter Chicken curry had a creamy base instead of being heavy on the tomato. We opted for a medium spice level since we hadn't tried the spice levels before, but I could have probably handled a hotter spice level. The dish was generous in chicken content and had plenty of delicious sauce that required the Naan to mop up. This was one of the best Uber Eats purchases I've made recently. The food arrived hot, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and tasted really authentic. The lamb entree, as well as the eggplant and potato curry, were the standout dishes of the night.

Absolutely fantastic food! We selected the chicken jalfrezi, lamb josh and potato/eggplant curry and they were all so tasty and generously proportioned with plenty of meat and not just sauce! The rice is perfectly fluffy and the garlic naan dipped in the curry is to die for. Can’t wait to return for that chicken jalfrezi! All perfectly accompanied with raita and you can also request the hot sauce on the side to suit everyone’s ‘spice’ palate

Had a great dinner here the other night. The staff were very friendly and the meal was great. I ordered the Pakora which were very good, although a little bit of the mint dipping sauce would have made them great and the Lamb Spinach with a small serving of rice. Unfortunately they had run out of house wine, both red and white but they were very apologetic; don't think I needed the alcohol anyway. I'd definitely eat here again.

Delicious indian food with a large selection and plenty of vegetarian meals. The staff are friendly and attentive. Nice place for a family dinner.
