Hanazono Teppanyaki - Surfers Paradise

The staff was friendly. Our cook was energetic and funny. I tried crocodile for the first time and it was great. This review contains photos of the menu for food and drinks! As you probably know, Teppanyaki is a fun way to prepare and present your dinner. Overall it was a fantastic night!

Great food with a fun show from the cook. The kangaroo meat was spectacular! And it's not too pricy.

Absolutely delicious food and a great atmosphere. Our chef was wonderful and so funny.

I don't know about other chefs, but ours weren't so good. Had some mistakes, left the tools on the floor while his tricks. A visit to this restaurant is interesting for the show, but not the food. I had much better food in cheaper restaurants. You pay more for the show than the food. I saw it, but I'm not gonna eat here anymore.

The food was really well cooked and flavorsome, but the portion size of the protein prawns /beef felt small for the cost of approx $20 per plate. I was a bit disappointed that there was only 6 prawns in a serving. However they do provide rice and salad and miso soup. We went for lunch and there was only 1 other table having lunch so atmosphere wasn't really there.
