Bundner Rigi - Surcuolm

We were a couple of weeks ago to go on the flush rigi. we had a stop in the gas house. the card is very original and has a few very tasty and light specialties to offer, such as the muzzle with salate or salate with local mountain cheese. they use exclusively local ware. what we will certainly try out is an overnight in the star room. friends have told us about this one-time overnight opportunity and we will still catch up personally. It is amazing that the mountain house from 7-18 august 2017, in the middle of the summer season, can be closed. have not experienced a mountain guesthouse that can afford such a thing.

The wete audre and others have created an absolute gem! in a great location there is a delicious regional map during the day, but others will turn right in the evening when the menu is available from the kitchen. who can connect this experience with a snow hike and ski taxi will remember this evening for a long time!

We were ende juli with two couples in the bündner rigi and have taken all the dinner menu. the food began with an apéro we took out on the terrace with a breathtaking view. andrey, the female part of the host family already took care of us here attentively and personally. the restaurant is authentic, clear and beautifully decorated. the menu that consisted of vittello tonnato, geeister melon soup and lamb with a beard ravioli was very good. in particular, the iced melon soup we had expected with something skepsis was the innovative kitchen that gave this otherwise more grounded quality restaurant the highlight. as expected, the chef of the kitchen came to the table to change with the guests a few short cakes. not to forget that the wine has been well suited for eating and both the wine prices and the price-performance ratio were appropriate in view of this extraordinary location, the services and also the really excellent cuisine.We can recommend it; you should have been there once!

The somewhat remote restaurant situated on a beautiful view is always worth a visit. the food is original and tastes very delicious, but also costs a little more than usual in the ski area. we always like to go to the bündnerrigi.

Friendly service, very good kitchen. a house which is simply cozy. the kitchen enchants with ingredients from the region excellent and not everyday freshly prepared dishes. good little wine card. happy again!
