Calibre Coffee Roasters - Surabaya

One of specialty coffee shop in Surabaya that unfortunately did not meet my expectation when dropped by. They used Mahlkonig and Black Eagle that made my expectation got even higher. However, coffee beans seemed not really fresh and cappuccino did not suit my taste bud. It was watery and i noticed that they used C**ory. As I heard from professional barista, C**ory had stronger cow smell compared to other milk brand. It might be not my lucky day since I read some positive reviews.

Like the ambience, the food was ok, not to expensive but not cheap either

Decent coffee, not too sweet (which is good! . I ordered Calibre Signature Latte (37.000 IDR . The place itself was not too crowded when I came; very nice for working/studying.

Great atmosphere and cozy place for mingling with friends and college

Coffee's brilliantly complex as with most shops on Java, but the french toast was unreal. As a bule from Europe, I can hands down say this is the single best french toast I've ever had, even when compared to back home
