Shack - Superior

Restaurant, Bar Lounge Liquor Store. The bar has penny machines and drinks specialties. I haven't eaten in the dining room here for ages, but I look the same. It's much quieter and less cartridge than I think they've ever had. However, staff in the bar and also in the liqueur shop are fun, respectful and a pleasure to do business.

It features house-made smoked bacon, homemade croutons, and a Caesar dressing that elevates the salad to a whole new level. Everything is prepared in-house, which is a big plus. Brandon also shared how he makes the unique chips; I won’t attempt to explain it, but they’re a delightful mix of chip and waffle. These chips are light yet bursting with flavor—definitely a must-order! The cherry on top was the excellent service. Kathy was an outstanding bartender and server. She greeted me warmly as soon as I arrived and was very attentive without being intrusive. Plus, she crafted some amazing cocktails! Overall, The Shack provided a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to return weekly while I’m in town for work. They’ve clearly put in a lot of effort to bounce back since the tough times during Covid, and I’m truly impressed by their dedication. I highly recommend giving them a try!

The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The waitstaff are friendly, attentive, and dedicated to providing a great experience. The atmosphere is clean and inviting.

I apologize for not catching the waitress's name! We visited on 8/16/21, and she was running the floor all on her own, doing an amazing job! The menu was smaller than what we initially saw online, but the new offerings are really great! Everything is freshly prepared, and the smoked brisket was excellent! My husband ordered the Walleye dinner, and even I enjoyed the fish when I tried it (I usually don't order fish; I just eat what he catches). I highly recommend this place! Thank you for the wonderful food and fantastic service!
