Aangan - Sunshine West

I had a terrible and disgusting experience at the Mt. Derrimut restaurant today. The manager, a rude woman, lacked professionalism and customer service skills. When we ordered, the food was not prepared as requested and was not delicious. When we spoke to the manager, initially she refused to replace the meal and only offered naan as a solution. Eventually, after arguing, she agreed to replace the entire meal. However, when we went to collect the replacement meal, we found that a dish was missing. When we called to address this issue, the same manager claimed they did not owe us the missing dish and were uncooperative. I will not be returning to this Indian restaurant and will be spending my money at places like Priya or Love instead. The service at Aangan is subpar compared to other Indian restaurants, and it is important for restaurants to prioritize customer satisfaction. Remember, if customers are not happy, they will not return or recommend the restaurant to others.

Please ask them not to go to this restaurant, it is disgusting. service disgustingly waiting personal bad well maintained dirty food disgustingly expensive. give it to miss, otherwise we are

Aangan offers Indian food, away from the house style. aangan means terrace in Indian language. the young lady who served us was very polite and helpful to explain the dishes. While I have eaten quite a lot from the subcontinent, we do not claim that we are expert. but we cost our meals. we also had Cardamon tea and Marsala tea that was delicious.

In ealry feb22, have been back twice since. eating is amazing. we are not great lovers of seasoning, but the aromen are incredible. my most recent favorite food type is Indian because of aangan.

I went to aangan derrimut on 10 May 2022 with my family after a very long time. I use to like their footscray restaurant. This is the second time that i have experience bad service and terrible food. We ordered cheese garlic nan breads, literally...there was so much oil on it with garlic paste thrown on it. We ordered balti paneer and kadhi pakora but the kadhi pakora was like eating raw beasn and balti paneer didn’t had much taste in it. We ordered masala puri, the team member delivered the puri but she didn’t provided us gol gappe ka panni (green water she says). We requested her to provide us green water after waiting for 15 minutes we requested another team member but she didn’t understood what we were asking as she wasn’t from indian background. So we end up having soggy masala puri while waiting for green water(gol gappe ka pani). Overall the service provided by staff and food quality is very bad.
