The Bean Scene - Sunnyvale

We've been going to the Sunnyvale farmer's market for about 23 years on most Saturdays. We always finish our visit with a trip to the Bean Scene Cafe. There are many new options for coffee bars in downtown Sunnyvale but we still like this one best. The owners and employees are super friendly, the coffee is good and we love the ambiance. It's at the heart of the farmer's market on Murphy St. which is an extra bonus if you like to sit outside. Saturdays just aren't the same without our trip to the Bean Scene. :

Great place ! I would say old school downtown cafe with amazing espresso, good sandwiches, cool 'chicken bake ' and empanadas, and crepes. What I would like to note specially, it is atmosphere maintained by great people, which are really adding additional value to half hour of my life when I have some time to have cup of espresso. What else nice music maybe just regular radio, not sure), cool collaboration program with local art club: completely different works from watercolor to photos are continuously taking some place on walls of cafe and in my heart and my Instagram). Not big choice of deserts comparing with cafe in Vienna or SF/Moscow, but I like mideastern 'baklava ' with my espresso.

We visit pretty often and have made many friends at the Bean Scene. Kenny and his staff are friendly and always helpful. We always get a great mocha and have tried the egg and cheese sandwich and the turkey and provalone. Always good and consistent. I love the atmosphere, very cozy and 'Cheers '-like.

I have enjoyed the #BeanSceneCafe since it opened. Everything about it is friendly.
