Country Gourmet - Sunnyvale

I visit CA for a business trip, but I came to this place twice. The environment is friendly and cool, make a good start of the day. Food is impressive and healthy. Good place to enjoy with family and friends.

Great breakfast options, simple seating, wonderful service! I enjoyed both the veggie and the spinach omelet with the cookie and the coffee cake side. Personally, I love the cookie side, it is not your standard biscuit, but that is what makes it especially IMHO. Coffee cake is filled with blueberries and walnuts and is also beautiful. When you meet friends, the pitcher of Mimosas (serves 4-5 glasses) is surprisingly affordable (approx. $18) and you can choose between orange juice and raspberry limonade versions. In any case a breakfast place is worth going!

Bad service. We had to ask 4 times for a high chair for our toddler, which took 20 minutes. After 40 minutes wait until food arrived, we had to go inside to ask for the waiting period. The restaurant wasn't very busy. The same story when you request a training box. I wanted to get it myself. The food is nice, but I would not recommend this restaurant if you have toddlers and need a fast and family-friendly service.

Good food, but still a semi-own restaurant. Lower assessment because I serve half myself.

Friendly servers. Prompt service. Huge portions. One orders food first at the counter and then sit down. This is very time efficient because one doesn?t need to sit around at the end of the meal and wait for the check. There were 11 people in our party and they helped to arrange the tables for us. 2 people shared a spinach omelette. Without requesting an extra plate, the server brought over a plate. An extra star for the attentive service. We had good food and a pleasant experience! Will visit again.
