Marinavista - Sunderland

We arrived in sunder1for a weekend away. We booked a table at this restaurant (based on previous reviews). The restaurant in the marina when we arrived on a Sunday evening was full with a great atmosphere. All other venues in the marina were closed !. Food choice was excellent and when it arrived did not disappoint. Excellent shiraz wine so all in all a restaurant that we are happy to recommend.

We arrived for our 6:30 reservation and waited at the door for 10 minutes before being acknowledged. Our table was not ready and we were finally seated just before 7. Another 15 minutes passed before our drinks order was taken. The food being served to other tables looked delicious, but the service we experienced was very poor. We decided to leave and were thanked on our way out as if we had just finished our meal. Overall, we were disappointed with the experience. We ended up having a pleasant meal at Santinos by the seafront instead.

My husband and I love this restaurant. We adore the food and the personal touch. Tracey, Adam, Chris, Effan, and the girls are all fantastic.

I must say, I recently had the best Sunday roast at this restaurant. The lunch was perfect, delicious, and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be returning and I will be recommending this place to others. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the venue was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

Marina Vista never fails to impress. On this occasion I had Gamberoni in a Thermidor sauce with rice yummy! The staff are friendly and helpful, the situation of the restaurant great and the menu good and varied.
