So once after the order (with a milk allergy too) and then not good (although none of it) we went to order again and we are told that they do not really vegan food because it has milk in the tofu?! Not sure whether they got confused or whether it's not vegan. If someone can throw some light on that for me, that would be wonderful.

A nice Chinese ride with an excellent selection of vegan dishes. I enjoyed a Chikn black bean sauce dish with rice and chips as well as curry sauce naturally.

With an impressive selection of not less than 17 tofu dishes on the menu, we have well picked with a tofu Szechuan and a tofu in black pepper sauce. The Szechuan was dry and spicy with pieces of green chilli and garlic. Absolute perfection. The more saucy black pepper dish had a welcoming zingy pfeffery kick on it. A delicious supplement of mushrooms in gravure sauce worked very well and accompanied. After all these years it is worth coming back to Ryhope.

I ordered the tofu in satay sauce and it was delicious. The Singapore rice noodles with veg were really nice too and none of the food was greasy like some of these places fail on. Updated from previous review on 2022-01-25
