If I have a choice, I don 't eat at so-called chains, but now it became an exception. Lucky it is. The last time I ate at Texas Longhorn was, if I 'm not guessing wrong, in 2009 and then at their newly opened restaurant in Danderyd. It was an experience that made it take 15 years before I ate at the Longhorn again. In Danderyd I was served by staff who were possibly brought up and trained in forensic medicine and who served food a hungry Rottweiler would run howling from. Since then it has not been a willful occasion to try them again. Now my group decided that we should go to Longhorn in Sundbyberg and I shrugged my shoulders and thought that it might be enough. Note that this is the only time in this text that I use that word in this review. We got a table far from the door and we are thankful for that as last night it crept down to -15°C outside. The social atmosphere inside with the happy and pleasant waitress was clearly warmer. On suggestion, I chose their Pulled Pork Sandwich with well-cooked fries and cole slaw. After a very reasonable wait, we were served crispy fries with a really delicious pulled pork. As I started, I rarely eat at chains and think that their food then usually tastes like prefab, while this burger would have sat beautifully whether I was in Las Vegas, Miami, London or Bengtsfors. OK, it 's a burger and it should be compared to burgers, only this one along with these top notch fries and TLH 's own sweet and smoky sauce made it the parade dish of burger heaven. What happened then but my attitude towards so-called chains? Well, it exists with one generous exception, Texas Longhorn in Sundbyberg. I can and want to eat chain food there. Preferably again and preferably soon. Thanks! [Unfortunately, the picture is not from this occasion and not from TLH.
We were terribly disappointed when we were told at the door that we could not bring the dog inside. We had booked a table and in connection with that were told that a small dog was okay, which was therefore not true. Had been there 3 months ago and it was fine then but not now. It's sad that we got an incorrect answer when we booked, but that can happen. Unfortunately, the female employee who gave us the news must have had a tough day as it had been a long time since we were treated as badly as we were. It is possible to tell in a nice and professional way that we received an incorrect answer when booking and that dogs are now not allowed, but the supervision and the overall whole in which this person delivered this to us was in a way that was very boring. Always liked this place but now I won't go there anymore. And not because of the dog ban, but because of the staff woman who had a demonstrably bad day and let it out on us.

I ordered a rare ribeye and it was spot on.. the fries were crunchy and the price was acceptable. The overall ambience is ok, nothing fancy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: kr 200–300 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
