J O'grady's - Sumter

I was just out for a drive and ended up in Sumter when I came across this place on the corner. I was extremely satisfied with the food, service, and atmosphere. The onion rings were delicious, the Coach Moody was perfectly spicy, and the Bacon and Beer ice cream was heavenly. This restaurant is now my new favorite.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic. The food is great and there is a great selection of burgers to choose from. The bartender makes you feel at home. The location is beautiful and really showcases what Sumter has to offer. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. (Note: there were more onion rings, but I got hungry before taking the picture)

We recently moved from Florida and were introduced to After Hours for the first time. What a fantastic place! We are so grateful for this fun and welcoming nightlife spot right in downtown Sumter! Scott is amazing and made us feel at home. It's impressive that he is the owner and still so laid-back and friendly. He gave us great recommendations for other places to visit and things to try. We are thankful for his hospitality and plan to make this our regular hangout spot. The drinks were top-notch and the bartenders were exceptional!

Solid, welcoming place to grab an above average burger and beer. Awarding an extra star because I’m grading on a small town curve.

I ordered the P15 with chicken, and it was good in spite of the meat being a little bit tough. Definitely recommend the fries with garlic sauce, they were very good. The toasted Pecan drink was also really good if you like creamy drinks. We did wait a little bit for our checks, but when I looked around, our waitress was the only one waiting tables, so I’m willing to forgive this minor detail. Overall a very good experience.
