Eggs Up Grill - Summerville

We used to love this place in Columbia on Devine St. This location though... The staff were friendly enough and the service was good. The food was so under seasoned or it wasn 't seasoned at all. It 's funny that there 's a large section on their menu akin to we know eggs with how their eggs are cooked... We ordered over-medium eggs at two different points during our meal and both times they were over-easy. The best thing was a seasonal waffle. Best to go to Eva 's on Main.

Fantastic breakfast and our waitress Ms. Renee was great ! Even the asst manager Ms Michelle was most attentive being sure our coffee never got too low. We will be back for sure !

The Eggs Up Grill typically never disappoints. I got the good morning burger and my wife got the bomb blt. The bacon was crispy, the burger was juicy. We also got the french toast to share, the portion was pretty small and it was dry. Didn 't even seem like it was dipped in egg, maybe it was just bc it was cinnamon bread. Did ask for regular french toast but it was not an option. Also, I was charged $3 to load my small amount of home fries, not worth the money Other than the french toast and over charged home fries, the service was friendly but a little slow, and the food was amazing!

We really wanted to love it here since we live in the neighborhood and its a great location for an easy breakfast. The menu selection is there but the food was just ok. May have even given a 4 star rating based off the food atmosphere. Unfortunately, we sat at the bar area and the team working is back and forth taking orders and dishing out food, which is normal for bar seating. What was uncomfortable is the female manager. She was disciplining her team in front of all of us and was relentless. It took 11 minutes from the time the lady started until the time she stopped. We felt awful for her team. Her lecture also delayed everyone from placing their order. And, since we were all forced to watch the show we ran out of drinks. It was very unprofessional and uncomfortable for the diners and the team. Not to mention she was disciplining them over pricing! Really sad for the people who work with her.

The food was great and Monica was awesome. I would have given 5 stars but the man that works at the front door was eating bacon and picking his teeth with his fingers while rolling silverware. That kinda grossed me out. Thankful I was finished eating
