Casa Córdoba - Suite C Montrose

Everything about this place is great. We felt like we were in Spain! We went for a family lunch on Saturday, it was delicious, tapas, paellas, everything! And sangria was amazing too! Special thanks to Richard who made sure we had a great time! Will definitely recommend and visit again!

The patio captures the feel of Spain. It is lovely. There is music on Friday and Saturday evenings, loud 7:00 to 7:30, then background about 8:30 to 9:00. The food was delicious, particularly the short ribs with lentils, the shrimp and the fried artichokes. The olives were excellent.

We have dined at or hosted special event meals at Casa Cordoba many, many times in the past decade. They were always reliable in terms of service and quality. However, during this visit for my spouse's birthday, it was a very poor experience. Not only was this the first time I've ever had a restaurant not acknowledge the event for which the reservation was made, but the service was very poor and the food quality not great. In fact, after no acknowledgement of the birthday event, I asked for the check. After 25 minutes and no sign of the server or the check, I got up to go find him inside the restaurant and pay on the spot. It was a very disappointing evening. We won't be going back. There are many other Spanish restaurants in Los Angeles we can visit next time.

We've been to this place as a family with our adult kids, and as an empty nest couple. The ambiance and food is great for both. Food is excellent and the environment really makes me feel I'm in Spain. Music is icing on the cake. The only drawback is that sometimes it feels that they are understaffed in servers so it may take a bit longer for our server to return to check on us. But when they do it's service with a smile and prompt response to our needs. We will continue to return. ??

It was our first time in this spanish restaurant in Montrose area and I can surely tell the readers that I am definitely going back to this place! The food were great, the service was amazing and the place? Such a cozy and positive vibe!
