Got there around 4:30. Nobody around and after a few minutes nobody showed up. So we left.

A neighborhood restaurant like you miss from the past. Greek and Italian, friendly atmosphere, tasty classics. Always decorated for the season. Easy access off I-64 at West Broad Street. Placed simple take out order of chicken picatta yesterday. I asked the young lady who took my order if I could substitute the side of pasta for spinach. She says sure, I have to charge you an extra $8.95, but you can get a different kind of pasta for no charge. OK, give me fettuccine Alfredo. She says OK, will be ready in 10 minutes. I roll up and was charged $4.95 extra! I told her forget it, just give me the spaghetti, which she did. I'm pretty sure they had time to make the Alfredo. A smart customer service move would have been to just throw it in the bag and make a happy customer. The picatta was pretty good, but there was only one table of guests in the dining room that was hot as an oven. Should have been way more customers at 7:00 PM. Poor communication and lack of basic customer service smarts will make me think twice about returning and we've been going there about 5 years.
