Marble Slab Creamery - Sugar Land

This place has been built since the first Colony Commons as 20 plus years ago. Love their ice cream cake. Always a few interesting flavors now and then. Never had a bad experience there. Even during the Coof Times.

A couple of weeks ago came with a friend for some ice since we were in the area. Did not have much of an expectation except your typical marble plate expectation, but the young man who worked here at that time was extremely polite and super nice with everything. And yes, I said "extreme."

Wasn't in marble slab for years, and we were glad they were still open after the pandemic. I had my old standby, sweet cream with oreos on a chic cone and it was as delicious as ever. I always appreciated that they smash the add-in to the ice, and it was still fun. I was annoyed that my wife got exactly the same as me, because I have a taste of something else, is a pleasure. Not only did she deny this joy, she ended the whole thing! Darn! They still have benches and tables outside to sit and enjoy what we did. Overall, marble slab is as good as I remember.

Very clean, kind staff, guessing owner.. a happy place for a great treat..love watching them prepare in front of you.. they mix the way you want... great job, Staff...

Hours say 10 pm. In google maps it took me to maggie moos or something on Lexington otherwise I would have arrived at 9:30 pm. If you plan to close early change your hours.
