Aki Steak Sushi - Sugar Land

Great sushi, sashimi, and nigiri! The Maki D is the best lunch! The miso soup is great. They have wifi here and comfortable booths. Lunch time here is good with fast service and a clean environment. The restroom is also kept clean. I find that the fish here is always fresh and never has that fishy taste or fishy smell. The jalapeno roll is the go-to roll in my opinion based on flavor and satisfaction! Love the food. The volcano roll is my fav, and the staff is always very kind and helpful. Best sushi in Sugar Land that I've had so far. Vegetarian options: Love the seaweed salad! Honestly they are the best. Sometimes I get a headache with them not wanting to sub the rice for extra veggies but just ask nicely and they will definitely do it. It's my only sushi place to go to in Sugarland. Thanks aki. Great service, sweet employees but the food is very bland. There is no flavor to their shrimp tempura. The crab rangoons also lack a lot of crab. Pretty chill ambiance but wouldn’t come back again. Ok, not great! Service was decent enough. Unfortunately, the food was not of great quality which was dissapointing considering the price. There are definitely much better places. The restaurant itself is ok. Clean, tidy and nice. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
