Bidrage med feedbackWe requested dishes from the vegan menu at the restaurant, but unfortunately we received pad thai with egg in it. The server initially assured us it was vegan, which was frustrating since we could clearly see and taste the egg. However, once the mistake was realized, the server quickly removed the dish and apologized repeatedly. Despite having the dish remade, the lingering thought of egg made it hard for us to fully enjoy it. The pad thai was not to our liking - it was overly sour and the tofu had absorbed too much of the sour flavor, leading to an unpleasant taste. We decided we would not order the pad thai again, but we may consider trying a different tofu dish in the future. On a positive note, the spring rolls we ordered were delicious.
Whenever I go out to eat with my family and friends, I always suggest going to My Thai Palace. I am thrilled that they have a location in North Bay as well. The service is consistently friendly and helpful. They offer non-vegan options, so be sure to ask the staff to make your meal vegan. They have a special menu at both Sudbury locations that outlines what dishes can be made vegan. The coconut sticky rice is delicious and it's great to have vegan options in Sudbury that aren't just hummus. I recommend trying the tamarind tofu for a sweet option, and the basil tofu for something savory.
This was my first time dining at this restaurant, which appears to have merged with the Rose Apple Sushi store. In addition to sushi, they also offer Thai dishes with slightly varied menus. My girlfriend loved the lemongrass soup, finding it both tasty and appetizing. We opted for the lunch special, which included Pad Thai, green curry rice, soup, and a complimentary spring roll. We also ordered calamari. The waitress was friendly, and we enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. Our only complaint was that the portions were a bit small considering the price.
I have celiac disease and this is one of the rare restaurants where I can dine safely without any issues. The meals are consistently fresh, served steaming hot, and prepared with attention to detail. It always satisfies my cravings and tastes absolutely delicious.
