Woodpeckers Woodfired Restaurant & Café Lunch

The pizza, pasta, and desserts at this restaurant are excellent! It is a favorite spot of mine. Despite being busy, there was no wait for a table, the service was fantastic, and the food came out quickly.

Came here on a Wednesday night and it was actually quite busy out good reason! we ordered the fried babysquid, linguine aglio olio and the boscaiola with gnocchi instead of linguini everything came out super fast and tasted super. the prices were quite normal, but what else would they pay for italian everywhere, but the portions were great and we were very satisfied. will be coming back in any case!

We went for dinner on a weekend a few weeks ago with a group of 4. We sat at a long wooden table with a view of the outdoor courtyard, which was lovely when the weather was nice. The menu offers standard items like pizza, pasta, salad, and some seafood options. We ordered a caprese salad (well presented), two shared pizzas (typical), a quinoa and roasted beetroot salad (delicious), individual pasta dishes, garlic bread, and chips. The food was average, nothing particularly memorable. The service was friendly, but the wait for our food was quite long. Overall, the experience was pleasant but not remarkable. The ambiance was beautiful, especially with outdoor seating at night.

The staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our group of 16 all ordered and our meals were served simultaneously. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The staff even came and sang happy birthday to our daughter.

Friendly and prompt service were positives. We ordered the calabrese and burrata. The tomato base on the calabrese made it a little soggy unfortunately, but the burrata was delicious. Creme brûlée was perfect.
